Default FS: 18" DPE R06 Variant S wheels - NEW

SOLD

I have a new set of DPE forged 2-piece R06 Variant S wheels in Brushed Aluminum with the Polished Lip for sale. The wheel sizes as follows:

Fronts: 18x8 with 42mm offset (20 lbs)
Rears: 18x10 with 50mm offset (22 lbs)

These are very light weight wheels made of forged T6-6061 aluminum. They are new and in the factory shrink wrapped packaging. (They were mounted with tires once, photos taken, then I opted to go with a different set).

http://www.dpe-wheels.com/showroom_w...g2_itemId=1254

With the brushed aluminum option they cost approximately $3340 new through Vivid Racing, plus shipping, and there is at least an 8 week wait to get these wheels made.

Asking $2400 includes shipping within USA

They are also available for pickup if you live in the Michigan/Ohio/Windsor area.

Please feel free to call or email me.

Seems is though it may just be a bad time to sell wheels...

Bump for the weekend and priced lowered to $2,600... if the Dow goes up on Monday, the price is back up to $2,800 ...what a freekin mess!!! I had to tell both of my kids that the Ivy league school fund has eroded into the local Community College junk bond.

Only God can forgive those crooks on Wallstreet ...it ought to be someones job to arrange the meeting!

mmmm. Macomb Community College. Good stuff

I grew up in Harrison Twp and my parents still live down at the end of North River Road.

Those wheels look really good... Good luck on the sale!

Not necessarily. I sold 3 sets of wheels in the last 2 weeks. Now selling TIRES is a different story.

LOL... wow, small world! I graduated from Chippewa Valley HS at 19 Mile & Romeo Plank in the early 80s and actually took a Calc class my senor year at MCCC... (just down the road, if you remember) lots of pretty girls for a 17 year old snotty nosed computer geek. Those days were memorable, 70s GTOs, Chevelles, Mustangs, Cudas, Chargers, Z28s. We use to have truck drag races in the school parking lot! Premium gas was $0.39 a gallon.

I moved back to the area about 10 years ago and now live in northern Macomb.

Nice to hear from a fellow Michigander... yep the leaves are changing, the temperatures falling... only a few months left to enjoy the Pcar before it goes in the garage for the winter. There never seems to be enough time in the year to drive our cars. I guess that's why the mileage of these northern cars is always so low. My 2000 996 just turned 20k. That will be my New Year resolution... "to spend more time behind the wheel of my 911" and to leave it alone for just one season! No more mods, no changes no accessories... just drive it more! Ya right!

-- Jeff

P.S. Buy mine then sell the OEMs. New DPEs for what I'm asking is a real bargain!

The problem with Michigan is that the roads are a mess in the winter;pot holes, debris, etc., not to mention all the salt they put on the roads. Most cars driven during the winter months take a beating. Once that salt gets inside the car, the carpet is hell to clean. It's just not worth it... IMHO.
