something to get the old radio out? The dealer is an hour away. Looks like some sort of fabricated plastic copies of the metal tools might work - any thoughts?

Just go to a local radio shop and see if they will pop it out for you, even a best buy or something.

I had NO luck finding them local (Richmond, VA), so it might be an available on the west coast thing. Not even the local install shops had them. I bought mine on ebay for $5 shipped. They are $1.80 from Becker plus shipping, so a real kick in the pants if you got the new reconditioned unit from Becker! You CAN make a set from thin spring steel. Plastic will not work. The curve only has to be approximate.
