Phil should buy it and park it in the garage next to his C4S . Then he can tell the C4S, "See what happens when you play in the street? That's why we stay in the driveway!"

I did not watch the auction, so I do not know the final price. The last pre-auction bid, was $32,025. It may have gone higher during the auction, either on line, or in person. It would have killed me to watch it and not be able to bid. In the past, I have been out bid on a GT3 and a F355 by a couple hundred on the Porsche and a couple thousand on the Ferrari. It's exciting, but painful.
I am currently looking for a project car to do with my son, who turns 16 in a few months. I bet I will enjoy it more than any of my other projects. We are looking for either a 944 or a Mustang.

Good one Tim.

Oh Tim, I just cracked a rib laughing.

Poor neglected car - destined to become a dusty abandoned Porsche version of Mfletch's Maserati.. the permanent wallflower - a beauty abandoned and left to think that they're fugly and fat assed, all for the lack of attention from their loved ones. Oh the humanity.

Hmmmm, now there's an idea! When I go into the gargage, my car seems to bark at me as if to say "can we please go out for a drive?" But, it's no dummy, my 4S. It knows when to play with itself in the garage (pardon the sperm bank pun) and when to play in the street. I sure as hell won't show it the pic of the '02 silver Carerra.

We actually went out to a party last night! And parked on a real street!!

WOW Phil, you are starting to live on the edge!!!!

If you aren't careful, you might even drive your 996 PAST a race track some day!

Awww, come on, we know that's not true - the nearest one is in Millville, NJ and that's a good 50 miles from Phil... he'd break out into a cold sweat just at the thought of driving that far.
