Default Evolution

I was looking through photos of my car taken since I bought it and thought that some might be interested in seeing the evolution of the exterior mods with time.

Photo1 - as purchased
Photo2 - front plate holder, amber side markers and red 3rd brake lights replaced with clear lights. Bumper plugs and key plug added.
Photo3 - Aero front bumper and side skirts installed
Photo4 - Sport Design wheels installed
Photo5 - Aero wing installed.

It would be interesting to see how other cars have evolved over time.

Thanks!

Honestly, I don't know. I've done relatively little to the interior, other than aluminum pedals and gauge rings.

At some point I might consider a 3 spoke steering wheel or different seats, but they're lower priority. I'm not sure that there's much else that I'd want to do.

it's funny how a few choice mods can change the whole look of the car!!

Very nice. I love the white. What color is your interior?

Wayne,

Did you install the second cubby (shelf) to replace the casette/cd holder?

Your car gets better with age - I wish I could say that about myself.

Looks great! The wing reall compliments the aero addition nicely.

I have a black interior. I wasn't a big fan of the tan interiors, as they seemed to show their age more.

I did, I'd forgotten that I had done that.

Yeah, I know... the car looks better and I look older.... maybe it's a transfer of youth.

Thanks! It does look better than I expected and it's really eye-catching. I don't see too many aeros around here, so it stands out.

Your car looks fantastic; I want to do pretty much the same with mine. Can the center in the front bumper cover be removed if you wanted to install the center radiator?
What rear wing did you install?

Yes, the front center can be removed - you just have to cut it out before you do the painting.

As for the wing, it's an OEM Mk1 aero wing.

Looks great but stop hiding, it's a 996. Either go with the upgraded non egg yolk headlight and show it's true colors.

3) After jacking up the car....

$) Final will all the goodies... hood scoup, driving lights, side pipes, flames!!!

Tim, I love it....where is the toilet paper roll???

Wayne, I absolutely love it with the aero kit. It makes me want to get mine installed. The only way you could possibly improve on the perfection that you have achieved, would be to paint or powdercoat the centers of the wheels black. Ok, I'm a little biased on the black wheel issue. White looks fantastic with the aero kit. The headlight covers look good also. Great job!
