Default 996 Essential Companion Book

Just got this in the mail yesterday. Wow. This is a pretty technically comprehensive book. I think reading this might help me get through the winter driving withdrawal!

+ 1. I like all of Adrian's book. I had written a review of it (excerpt below) and the 993 one on my site

"My first exposure to Adrian’s work was during the research phase prior to purchasing my 1997 Porsche 993 C4S. Porsche 993 The Essential Companion was recommended to me by a friend. At first I was a little taken back by the cost, $62 and change (same as the 996 book) but now I know I could never live with out it. While not as complete as true shop manuals, both the 993 and the 996 companion books are workshop manual for those of us with only “modest” technical skill (which I believe covers the majority of us.)"

I have the 911SC Guide in reserve in-case I get the bug for one of those.

If you check out this post, "Porsche 996 The Essential Companion " under my name on the 996 forum, you will find lots of your fellow Rennlisters cars are featured in his book. It was worth every penney.
