Default HOW DO I TAKE APART MY HEADLIGHTS??

I need to clean the inside of the plastic cover, it's yellow-ish. I already know how to pop the headlight assembly out of the car, but how do I take the clear plastic off the assembly?? Thanks.

Raphael, please stop posting your topics in all caps

The only way to open the headlights is to bake them in the oven, search on 6speed someone has definitely done it over there.

Don't do it.

I did, I used Meguiar's Plastic Cleaner & it worked great, but it has like stains/yellowing from the inside that really bothers me.

Start with a medium sized sledge hammer.

Put the light on a hard surface, like the garage floor.

Lightly slam the sledge hammer on the edge of the light, repeat this process until the light opens.

You're welcome.

OK I wasn't going to do this, but...

But I must say again, don't do it unless you're very good at this, once you've broken the seal it will be very difficult to prevent moisture from entering

Thanks buddy. I have an interior? Haha

It's just grey, but fluorescent lighting gives everything that greenish tinge.
