Default GOOD/CHEAP INDIE IN SAN DIEGO??

Hey guys, I need a new clutch & the updated RMS. Can anyone recommend me a good place to go in the San Diego, CA area? Also, how much should I be paying for the clutch & RMS?? Any idea? Thanks!

I used to be a partner in Mind Over Motorsports (Porsche Exclusive Race Shop here in San Diego), but we closed last year. Once of our techs (Porsche trained, was a dealer tech at Pioneer previously) is now working on his own as RSR Motorosport. Many of our old street and race customers use his services now. He is an excellent tech (as passionate about these cars as we are) and will be way less $$$ than any other shop in town since he's totally independent.

With what you'll save, you can step up to a LWF (totally the way to go).

We had a ton of 996 customers and did this kind of work on a weekly basis.

Please tell him I referred you if you decide to go this direction. Here are a couple pics of our old facility....too bad we couldn't all get along, it really was a dream.

Thanks guys, I'll definetely give both of them a call to check on pricing.

The $2,500 they wanted to charge me at Pioneer Porsche just for the new clutch seemed pretty high to me. Plus I didn't like the fact that they were trying to push me to remove the aftermarket headers, cats, mufflers, & air intake to have them put stock parts back in.

...BTW, so what is your current business dedicated to? Your avatar says Flat-6 Performance. What do you guys do?
