Default Audi seatbelt (and VW) male female same as 996?

Hi.

Long story, but are the audi and vw parts the exact same size as our 996 parts.

TIA

Yes.

I cut the male end from a VW in a junkyard to keep the buzzer from going off when I use my harness. Works perfectly.

Addendum: Does anyone know if the audi/vw male part is the "exact same part" as the porsche part?

Thanks!

(same OEM supplier is likely, etc.)
