Hi,
I just noticed today that my right wheel (not sure whether it the front of back) makes some funny noise - it's like when u have something suck to your tire and it does some type of "click click click" as you drive.
I would hope it has nothing to do with the suspension as a Porsche mechanic checked it 2 weeks ago when I bought and told me the breaks, pads and suspensions were in great shape etc...
what can it be? I even checked whether the bolts where tighten up...
Thanks for your helps

I had a similar problem with my car about a month ago. With the help of a couple fellow rennlisters (thanks David and Loren), we narrowed the problem down to a foreign object inside my left front wheel. I took my car to the shop that installed my tires and they found that a piece of their tire mounting machine had broken off inside my wheel.
I found lots of good information here when I searched under "996 suspension noise". Good luck....hopefully it's something minor and inexpensive like mine.

I found a steel plate bent from behind the rotor bent and scraping against the rotor. Easy to find if you know which tire it is. I just pliers to push it back. I guess it got bent when I hit a pot hole or something. I bet you have the same issue.
