Default Yes or no? MKI aero skirts/taco wing on MKII 996

Would you do it to a MKII 996? I would obviously use the MKII aero front bumper due to the headlights but what about the MKI skirts and taco wing? Is this Porsche "blasphemy"?

Can someone photoshop this?

Cory,

I think with the right color the MKII aero kit looks great. I was never all that into it until I saw this white one. Now I am saving up for a white 996 GT3.

Sexy! I do love the MKII but I think the MKI is a little more fitting for the car's curves.

Any pics Ray? I want to see the headlights, skirts, and the front corner of the wing in one shot to judge the looks. In my head, it looks good to me.

I'm admittedly not a huge taco fan, but i do think the Mk1 skirts ill work fine and do look more shapely.

To tame my Taco down, I had to put 295's in back and then it looked perfect. Too narrow of tire makes it look too big.

My '87 has 964 bumpers, 94 3.8 964 Turbo wheels, and a 993 TT tail.

I guess older 911's were viewed as ok to share different bits from different years.

I wouldn't do it. The lines of the MKII are sharper while the MKI lines are smoother and curvier.

Really just dreaming right now and testing the waters. I am trying to see how people would perceive it that know 996's well. I miss my MKI aero though until I hit the boost in the '87

Seriously Cory, I think the MKI kit looks great on the 02+ cars. I saw my old race car last weekend and was reminded how beautiful that car was. I wish I had it back.
