Anyone here recently trade a black 1990 C2 for a 2004 911 in San Mateo CA?
Looking at a 1990 C2 in San Mateo CA. It has the right mods and appears well cared for. Wondering if anyone here was its previous custodian?

Look in the maintenance book and see if it shows who and where the maintenance was done....or ask them to run the VIN and tell them you are interested in seeing the record of the maintenance....then you can see wehre it came from last. (if it was maintained and recorded). Some of the dealers will tell you the information can't be released because of the "privacy laws"....so if they throw that at you tell them to redact the identifying info with a black marker pen...

My daughter spent hours on that picture. Its especially sad as the car recently got totalled by a drunk driver coming at us head-on in the wrong lane...with my children in the car. The kids don't realize how close we actually came and are just in mourning over our car.
The black C2 Coupe in question had some tasteful mods and appeared enthusiast owned. The dealer informed me that the previous owner had traded for a 2004 911. I figured they may be a fellow rennlister...
