Default Porsches in movies and games

I have to admit, I am a multimedia junkie...TV, movies, games (aviation and racing sims mostly) and always get a bit of a kick when a Porsche makes an appearance. Back in '87 I enjoyed "No Man's Land"...lots of nice pre-996 scenery. That might have been what sparked my interest. Who'd a thunk I would own one some 20 years later?

On the gaming side, Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed is about all I could find.

Any renting/buying suggestions?

if you have a decent computer get rFactor and the PCC mod. Then download the Nordschleife track and go to town.

All your mods can be found at rfactorcentral.com

Looks like a nice tip, lots of different cars and tracks.
Does rFactor use some kind of "open" architecture to allow other contributors to build cars and tracks?

I'm also an old school EA Porsche NFS playa.

Also a NFS Porsche Unleashed junkie... GTR2 is also very good, much better physics, but it's all track/race cars, no "open" cities.
