I have a 2003 Carrera 2. When I abruptly let off gas at say 2000 rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear, I get a clunk noise coming from the rear. It isn't that loud but i wonder if this is normal? I recently put in a new clutch and flywheel. Is my transmission/differential loose or is the normal? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

do you only get it while rolling? How about when you turn? Left or right side?

It does not have anything to do with body roll (I think I've ruled out suspension and mounts). It seems to be something to do with the power delivery. It feels like a little bit of play between power and neutral manifesting itself as a soft clunk.

c4s drivelines clunk all the time. Normal for them.
