Default Advice Needed, 2003 Bumper

Hello to all, I am currently looking for a turbo front end to install on my 2003 C2 that is bone stock. Here's the link to what I am looking at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/porsc...spagenameZWD1V

Other than the lower lip, what else would be needed to install this bumper? How difficult of an undertaking is it? Thoughts?

Thanks from a newbie!

I looked at doing the same thing on my 2002 C2. Besides the cover, you have to cut the bumper reinforcement, plus get 2 new fender liners ($75 each), plus the plastic reinforcement that goes under the cover is different from stock, so to do it right ahve to replace those ($50ea), plus the underside of the cover does not match the plastic mounting holes of the stock one so either jury rig it or replace those parts ($100), cooling ducts to the radiators are different, ...Bottom line, just do a search for the Porsche online parts PDF (PET)..and compare the turbo/C4S fron bumper and its parts witht he C2. About $500-600 PLUS the turbo cover and grills + painting. I decided to just stay with stock.

Ok, so it is not a bolt on. For some reason my local porsche dealer was saying I could not do it? After looking at all of the cars here that have that fron end, it can't be THAT difficult.

Has anyone here done it and can comment on it? Did you save your parts list?

It is definitely doable. There are many that have done it. Apparantly, tho, the C4S & turbo radiators are not recessed as far back as the C2s, because a few have complained of higher operating temps after the facelift, and then opted for the 3rd radiator to help solve the issue. Problem is the 3rd rad and ductwork is like $1000 more...definitely looks better, IMHO..just not $2K better, for me. Do a search, also on 6speedonline and renntech.org. I found it all with the searches.

Thanks for the information, i will look into those sites. Have you done anything with your front end? If so, do you have any pics?
