Wow, so many 1999s - 2000s for sale these days. With the way the economic outlook is, probably not the best time for a seller.

I guess that most 996 drivers are not the deep pocketed ones! Including me! And when the economy takes a dive...we (yep me 2) go with it. This time the dive is a NOSE dive...and it hurts!!! I am lucky mine is paid, so it only cost me insurance and a little maintenance...BUT with a 2nd baby on the way I honestly don't know when I am going to have the time to drive my P....my baby girl just turned 1 and I was very pleased that she finally could drive facing forward.....just find out that my wife is about 9 weeks pregnant..damn one more year of not being able to use the P.....

BUT selling it in this market it almost useless! Lucky for me I bought a great cover! LOL

That price is too steep IMO. For $4-5k more, you can get an '02+ with a 6-spd and almost half the miles.

yeah... you probably are looking at $26/27K tops - don't ask me... it's a steal for a Porsche, but there are so many out there and '99 is the worse year to sell - will be a tough put my friend
