As i bring my clutch down it makes a real annonying squeaky noise, is it the spring? How how is a repair like that ? or what else can it be. Can i lubricate it?

It's the linkage.

I actually have no idea how much it will cost you, as mine did this when I bought it CPO from the dealer. It wasn't covered by CPO, however; they fixed if for free (since I had negotiated them getting rid of it as a condition of buying the car) minus the brand new clutch, as I opted to have them do it since they had it all apart and they didn't charge me for labor.

Call the dealer, tell them you your clutch creaks/squeaks when you press and depress it. Ask them how much it would cost to have all 3 parts of the linkage replaced ( I think that's how many parts they had to replace).

Once you have it done and the clutch is smooth, it will feel 1million times better as you won't get any stuttering as it's creaking.

BTW, mine had the same exact miles and the clutch felt strong/perfect!

One last thing. They wanted $1300 for the parts just for the new clutch. I talked to Pelican Parts and they charged $960 SHIPPED (mind you, this was for a Turbo). I then got them to match Pelican, dollar-for-dollar including tax. $960 out the door, brand new Porsche Purchased clutch, installed with 1 year warranty.

My old Boxster S had the squeak in the linkage but my 996 the squeak was just in the pedal, a little lube and all was well.

I took out my clutch spring. Made the clutch engagement much easier to feel. No more stalling at stoplights because I can feel my clutch now.
