Default Painting recommendation for Long Island?

Can anyone recommend a good body shop for some bumper painting/touch-up on Long Island? Near Huntington?

I banged into my garbage can one too many times and it looks like the bumper had been repainted without a good prep base and a section is peeling off.

Thanks!

tom

Can't recommend a body shop in LI, but the paint is probably peeling because they didn't add a flex agent to the paint.

That's exactly what my indy said when I showed them!
Said that flex agents are on the expensive side.

Thanks for the verification on that part at least!

Flex agent isn't expensive, sounds like the painter doesn't want to go get any.

My suggestion is to ask your dealer who they use, then go and see the shop and what cars they are working on. I have an excellent ship in Rockville Center but probably too far for you.

Great suggestion! Went to Huntington Porsche, but their body shop is in Lindehurst. Quoted $950 to remove the bumper & repaint it. Going to get another opinion or two, but this sounds pretty good!
