Rick how would these work on a street only car? Would they last longer than a oem 996 setup? What street pads would you recommend

 

Rick, do you have rotors for the 996 Turbo/C4S?

 

I would be very interested in a set of fronts if they are ok for a car that is a DD and is going to track occasionally. If so, I too would like to know what street pad would be recommended.

Sorry, no turbo/C4S rotors yet...

These rotors are as good as stock for the street, look great and will last much longer....

I've had good luck with the Pagid Blue for the street...

 

Funny. but after 34 years of driving, I FINALLY get a car with rotors that have cool cast cooling holes front & rear (Porsche rotors are not drilled..the holes are cast in, and then machined, stronger that way), a look I've always loved, and nowI'm told that they are not as good as the slotted ones....I'll keep my Porsche ones, but thanks for the info!

 

Bringing this topic back up because I forgot I wanted to get these rotors since I decided against the PFC rotors. However, I just ordered stock pads and was wondering if they would work, or should I send them back and buy the Pagid blue? (Aren't they the same, kinda ) Thanks again!

 

Anybody end up using these? I'm shopping for rotors now but these are a little pricey.
