Anyone notice any low RPM torque with MKII muffler mod?
some on 6speedonline say that the mod shifts some hp to the upper rpms at a loss of low end torque. Any one with any input? I'd never sacrifice power for sound, and I can't see how the MKII mod is different in the end from the PSE...which is not supposed to affect power in any way.

I have not seen any negative torque or hp change. I have been extremely happy with the mod, I would recommend it to anyone. If there is a negative change, it is so small that it is not noticable.

I didn't notice any changfe in torque when I installed the modded mufflers. I also didn't notice any change when I put the stock mufflers back on the car.

I haven't noticed any loss or increase, and I don't think there's any really meaningful change to backpressure with the mod. Of course without a lot of before & after dyno on enough cars, anything we say is only measured by the finely calibrated seats of our pants. It may be possible the 6 speeder may have a leak at the weld or even on re-fitting, of course that too is conjecture.
