Red, thanks for the kind words.

I am going to stick around for a while. What else do I have to do? It used to be that when I got a little "restless" I would take the P-car for a drive to meke me feel better. Somehow, I can't envision the same thing happening with the Accord.

Tim,

First you leave the Queen city and now the P car is gone... that's a lot of change my friend!
A couple of years in the Honda and then you will appreciate the Porsche even more when you get another on!

What do you mean a "couple of years?" Hell, a couple of days has already done that!

If there's anything Hondas have in common with Porsches (aside from kaizen-jutsu), it's that their owners absolutely love them, and I'm sure you'll grow to love yours, especially since it's so reliable it's bound to make you go out and buy a 914 or old 911 to work on! Seriously Tim, thanks so much, you made me feel so welcome when I joined and I hope that fortune smiles on you with another Porsche for you to mod up and advise us all on sooner than later.

I was considering a Honda (Acura TL). Has anyone driven the Type-S?

Yes- I had an older one that I leased and I had zero trouble with the car in 3 years and really liked it. The new S is a great car that little competes with in that price range IMO.

tim,
keep the VIN number of the car handy. chances are it will come back up for sale in a year or 2 and you can buy it back. i cna't remember the amount of times i've had a chance to buy back stuff that i sold thanks to forums/the internet (so far the list is: paintball gun, the skyline gt-r, my 2nd car ever which was a 97 civic dx hatch and last but not least a GSX-R600).
