Yes, I think we do. After I got back to the office, I noticed a bunch of blue spots on my shirt. It looked like a fountain pen had leaked all over my shirt. Only later did I realize that those were my tear drops... I am proud to say that they had turned Lapis Blue!

Tim, I was doing my daily ebay Porsche 996 search and I thought of you. I came across a gorgeous 2001 996tt with Champion wheels, 6-speed, 67,000 miles, and no stories, for a buy it now price of $44,500!!! I hope your next Porsche is even nicer that your beautiful Lapis Blue 996.

Thanks Mark, but it's going to be a few years before there is another Porsche in my garage.

Sorry Tim, I knew that you were going to be Porscheless for a while. I was hoping the incredible price drop might cheer you up a little. I can't believe you can get a nice TT for that price.

Thanks goodness, I didn't actually cry (in public anyway), so that was a good thing!
Sorry to hear that Tim!!!

I hope another performance car of your choice, BTW we all know that is a P-Car, is in the near future for you.

Best of luck to you!!!

Well I guess the Honda discussion we had stuck a little? It is a GREAT car! Built much better than the 996 with only one flaw...FWD. But I still love the one I bought for my Daughter and you will not regret buying it. Congrats for now and soon we can start the search for the next Pcar! Come on over to my place anytime you need a P Fix.

Next on your list....GOLF CLUBS

Tim, where about are you located in Dallas? I moved to Denver from Plano about 8 years ago.

Tim,

I rented an Accord in Florida last year when I was there. I was blown away by how much better they are then when I drove my Acura Integra (same basic chassis then) in high school and college. They are very German in handling, get phenomenal mileage and are very comfortable. It will be an able vehicle until you rock the world and can next make it back into a Pcar. May the road take you where you need to go.

Tim
I hope you stay active on RL. You've always been very helpful.
FWIW, I sold my 964 and got an M3 in 2002. Was immediatley missing the Porsche experience. Then sold that car and decided to just drive the Tundra. I think I said everything you've said. 6 months later I justified a 944. 18 months later, I got the 996.

Tim... please stick around, the policing of newbies recently has been really slacked, keep the sigs on and the newbies will never ever know... your knowledge and presence here is very valuable.
