My Wife was trying to put the top down and pushed too hard and caused the top dash button to disconnect for the horseshoe plate. How do you remove the horseshoe to reattach this button??? Thanks, Dale

 

That had to be one heck of a push! MY02+ is a single horseshoe, while MY99-01 are two separate halves separate from the top center vent. Either case, gently pull/unclip while using a plastic trim spatula or equivalent.

 

Dang, I wouldn't mess with her...as said above removing the shoe is pretty easy then snap the button back in....

do u have smarttop?
u may consider get it.

 

My Dad's cab had this same issue last week, not sure how he could push the button through the hole... Anyway easy fix as other mentioned above, just carefuly pry the small right horse-shoe piece out & re-attach the switch back on. GL.
