I did it.... I modified my exhaust "Pedro style" (Pedro is the guy who first did this mod from PPBB) on my Boxster.

It sounds good. Not quite the volume or depth of sound that my 996 PSE gives, but still a nice improvement.

I don't get it. How are the pipes configured?

ok... so its 2 new pipes into the outlet pipe, with that baffle in the middle of the original outlet pipe? Im assuming that the 2 pipes are tapping into the inlet of the muffler.... just a wild guess, but dont really know.

Exactly, the Boxster uses one central muffler (unlike the 996 which uses two on the sides). This mod does the same thing as the 996 PSE mod, except it diverts a portion of the exhaust gasses directly to the outlet.

Used a larger pice and added some additional support pieces, but this is the basic mod.
