A good opportunity to post my brother's cars, both of which are (as you can see) near perfect. The '73 246 GTS Dino is a restored, fully-documented car with 16K miles showing; the '67 330 GTC is a pristine unrestored car (even with original paint) with 9K (!!) miles. They're incredible machines - very different from our Porsches, but truly works of art.

Wow, Phil, tell your brother he's got some great-looking cars!

Is that Dino a (factory) targa? I was just reading about those the other day and vaguely recall that they didn't do the factory models until '73 or so.

That car is a 1973 factory "chairs and flares" (flared fenders) 246 GTS (targa) Dino. This is the well-known (by Ferrarista) "Scoblick Dino" (the orginal owner). The car was restored by the original owner shortly after purchase (!!), is thoroughly documented, and has won a number of national trophies. It's considered by F-enthusiasts one of, if not the best, Dinos in existence. It is simply flawless throughout. My brother's owned it for around 15 years.

Ah, I knew there was something special about it. I suppose that's one that you'd want to hold on to, eh?

Actually, he's had some very serious offers on the car, but my guess is he'll probably hold on to it. No indication that prices on vintage Ferraris are dropping - even with the bad economy.

Hey Phil, the dino is my alltime favorite car, the sexiest lines ever!!!!

He must be a greenwich guy based on the cars and manicured landscape... Is that an old pic, or has he not driven that car in a few years? We've long since changed plates.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting that event. Closing Colorado Blvd, should be a nice event.

Phil, thanks for sharing pics of the Dino and 330, I always like the front-engine cars.
Classic Ferraris are just enchanting, very cool.

He's in CT, but not Greenwich - and the pics were actually taken in the last few weeks. The plate is old, but he's had it since his first Dino (a coupe) which he sold to get this one 15 years ago. The plate was transferred to the GTS. And truly, the Dino is one of the most beautiful designs ever.

didnt' Dino's used to be fairly in-expensive? I thought you could get them 15 or 20 years ago for $30K - $40K? I may be thinking of a different model. How much do they go for these days?
