The larger ducts simply collect more air than the smaller ones. The 986 ducts are the same as the 996 ducts because the front of these cars and the front suspension and braking systems are all very similar. I really don't see how the smaller ducts could perform better. If they did, why would Porsche waste time and effort creating the bigger models?

That makes absolutely no sense, IMHO.

I'm agreeing with Ray on this one. Here are some pics. There will be more airflow and it will be directed to the righ area.
