Wow, what a fantastic weekend! Always fun to spend a weekend at the track with good friends. While we did miss some of Mark's fantastic coffee on Saturday morning, it just couldn't take us away from the smell of race fuel in the morning

This weekend I was tasked with instructing Manil who's new nickname is "I swear I saw a point-by" . Oh Lordy was that a handful on day one However, the boy was in total student mode and took every piece of instruction I could dish out and by the end of Sunday he was clearly the most improved and fastest student in his group. At the end of the weekend he was promoted to the next group

Got a chance to run the Spec Boxster for the first time at VIR this past weekend after taking delivery of it a few weeks ago. It was an absolute blast. I only ran it on Friday though as I wanted to try out the new Turbo on track. I drove that on Sat/Sun and she was up to the task. Had a blast driving both.

Bruce got some good video from various locations on the outside of his car using the goproHD camera. Can't wait to see those!

George was the master chef once again cooking for us at the Villa. Nothing beats spaghetti and meatballs and a few cocktails with good friends after a long day on track.

Rich, time for you to get some r-comps. Let's work on that between now and the next event. We'll just need to do some searching as to what is available for your sizes.

John, the grin on your face was permanently etched from ear to ear all weekend

218 consistently by the end of my second session. There's another 2 seconds on the table with another day of testing.

The Turbo was running high 211's-low212's. I was hoping to break 210 but that's about as good as that 3500# car can do in stock form with stock alignment and with nitto track tires. It also didn't help I was chasing tire pressures all weekend. I'm certain once I get the tire pressures fixed I can break 210.
