If anyone is interested I am trying to sell it before I bite the bullet on a new motor. Email or PM to discuss price. Thanks!
I've cleaned the leather and added carbon ignition surround, carbon hazard surround, and aluminum gauge rings since this photo was taken.

I'm also interested, and sort of looking for a 996 w/out a motor... The car looks great in pictures, alas we couldn't agree on a price.
Good luck with the sale. That said, if you can afford to have the car fixed now, that may not be a bad financial move.

To quicken this process, I am asking $16,000 for the car. No sweat either way. If it doesn't bring that I will just put a motor in myself. The dealer is just waiting for the call to pull the trigger anyway.
I personally think this car is in great shape for a 2000, with the exception of the motor (that is still in the car, for core exchange). The interior is in nice shape. I scratched the instrument surround a little when putting the last gauge ring on, but I was just going to leave it. It could always be replaced with a carbon one. Sorry I don't have anymore photos as the car is a fair distance from my home.

Othomas,
I am interested/curious but at a lower price point so keep me in mind before you do anything. My 100% prefer is for a tip but a 6spd at the right price could be worthwhile. it's for someone far cuter than me![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
What are the miles and options? I don't see heated seats.. others?

60,500 miles....not many options. I have installed carbon shift ****, carbon inst. surr., and carbon hazz. surr., clear markers. It has alcantara headliner and that's about it.

I honestly think it's 6 of one and a half dozen of the other. I wish I had the forethought to buy a 911 that needed a motor, but was in good shape otherwise. That way, you get the warranty without the risk of buying one that could fail.
The motor install for me is $12,777.00. So, I'm not sure why my car would only be worth $10,000 as is. That would be $23,000 and that is too cheap. My car with a new motor is much better than if it had the original flux capicitor.
