Switch Digital Readout to Kilometers
Well I finally have my car and it is beautiful - so ...perfect.
Anyway, one of the things I know I will need to do is switch the computer to display everything in metric (kilometers, kph, etc) - I tried searching both the internet and rennlist specifically, does anyone know how to do this?
I have a 2003 996 MkII

With the car started, turn the clock set button in the gauge cluster to the left and hold it for about 5 seconds. Do not push the button -- pushing sets the clock. That should do it.

Is it a legal requirement to change it if the digital display is already in KPH? IMHO the analogue gauge is almost unreadable/ornamental anyway, so it hardly seems worth the trouble
