I am looking to replace my '01 996 convertible top. Anyone have a recommended supplier or manufacturer to use or to avoid? Has anyone used Germanex top?

Check out GAHH. They have a replacement with a glass window. The opening is a little smaller than the plastic, but you eliminate the plastic.

You can also do a search on gahh and get some other Rennlisters comments on the top.

I Just got the GAHH top installed (last week). I opted for the plastic window, not the glass. The glass window is MUCH smaller and I don't like the way it looks. As I drive the car mostly on weekends and often with the top down, the glass didn't make much difference to me. Btw, cost me $2K installed.
