Default PPI in Orlando - Anyonoe heard of Red Bone Garage?

I am looking at a car in the Orlando area and want to have PPI done. Has any one heard of an Indy Garage called Red Bone Garage? Can anyone suggestion a good shop. I don't know much about the area. Thanks

All 3 very good shops.
Zotz's owner is Donnie. A Great Great guy. He worked in the shop for 12 years before buying it. They recently serviced my 996 and are the best shop IMHO in town. Also the lowest per hour labor of the 3. Will do all the right things will not gouge you. 1000% trustworthy. Also a Citrus Region PCA Sponsor.

Sid Collins at Troy sport is a excellent porschephile as well. Perhaps better on the older cars not so much the 996. With any of these 3 shops you could not go wrong.

Porsche of Orlando on the other hand.. gacckkk awful...

Thumbs down Redbone Ripped me off of 38k

Do not use redbone garage Orlando fl....Use Zotz.... Paid Robin Reddy in advance to build 968 3.0L 16v motor ...he quoted me 6-9 months and took over 4 years and then the mechanic blew it up on the day of delivery....They wouldn't even honor the warranty and made me pay for all the parts on second motor. Second motor took over 9 months to build..which also blew up within 2500 miles....The State is now investigating their deceptive business practices....

If I were in FLA, I'd make every effort to get it to Pedro at Pedro's Garage. Visit his site and see what a great PPI looks like.

Probably not a better water-cooled Porsche guy in the state. Might not be convenient but worth seeing if he happens to be in the area.

I echo the comments above in support of Donnie and and the Zotz guys. One note is that they are now called German Excellence (same location, same techs). Donnie is awesome and has done all my work. I wouldn't go ANYWHERE else.

Redone Garage is no longer. Robin Reddy wouldn't return the $$$ I paid and and there was no way to get the 6 years wasted waiting for him to complete and I wasn't going to let anyone get ripped off form this shop again. His options were to pay back the $$$ in installments or face me in court. He failed to do either, he had to file bankruptcy to stop my pursuit. Nobody lies to my face and takes my money without repercussions. Jason Lee at Heritage Motorcar Research has had the car for over two years now and was quoted 22k for his MoTec power plant build. It looks like it will be closer to 30k once he gets all his recommendations. This was to be built for my girlfriend 35th Birthday.... she turns 40 next month. I believe this car will be for sale prior to us ever driving it. If anyone is interested in purchasing it. Please contact me or

Been a long time but you car was one of those projects that if it could go wrong it did. I had a 968 cab then and did my top end. Ported, Match ported and it ran fine. There were really stupid faults Porsche did when the built those cylinder heads. I corrected what I could and it was lots better. That VarioCam was interesting but not well engineered. I guess when you wanted to turbo it, it was stressed past it's capability.
