Default Will factory GT3 wing fit directly on a 996 c2?

I am thinking about purchasing the factory GT3 wing for my 996 c2. Will the wing fit right up to my car or do I need to make any modification? I remember reading that someone had a problem with the fan but I can't seem to find that tread.

Dont buy the gt3 wing... instead, buy the aerokit (which looks like a gt3 wing). this have the correct intake holes in the correct location.

Thanks Ray, I have a K&N intake. Would that make any difference with the fitiment of the wing? Can I just reroute the intake duct?

Learned something new today. Do you have pictures of the underside aero kit wing vs. gt3 wing? I remember there was a tread on this forum about someone comparing the two but I cant find it for the life of me.

Not really, the K&N still uses the same input tract for outside air. Redridge posted the wing you need.

Thanks guys, I actually have a facelifted with Turbo bumper and MKII sideskirts. I think the MKII GT3 wing would look better with my setup.

I like your car. I would condsider two minor things before even adding the wing, which of course wil look great. Tint you windows, and add a polished lip to your wheels.
