Protecting the Rear Window from Sun

I have a sun screen for the front windshield, but I haven't seen anything that protects the carpet in the back window from exposure to the sun.
Frankly, my Porsche is rarely exposed to full sunlight - it's usually parked indoors. But, on those rare occasions when it is in the parking lot in the sun, I'd like to protect the rear carpeting from fading.
I'm not into dark tinted windows.
Has anyone seen a rear window sunscreen that's as simple to put in place as the front windshield sun screen?

Window tint cuts down almost all of the harmful UVA and UVB rays. Even the lighter shades still cut down the same amount of UVA and UVB. Once you drive a car with tinted windows you'll never drive one without it.

Thanks for the advice. It's got to be cheaper than replacing interior parts that are sun-faded or damaged. The 951 I used to own had a little bit of that and it drove me crazy; had to replace everything with the slightest crack.

There are "short" car covers that just cover the top down to the bottom of the windows. That might do what you want and are easy to remove & store because it doesn't cover the full car.

If your car is rarely exposed to full sunlight as you've told us, I'm wondering if you might be needlessly worrying about fading. It makes sense to be concerned if your car is outdoors a lot in full sun, but yours apparently isn't.

Thanks, Pilot. I'll check out the price of a partial cover.
Great point, VGM. It really doesn't sit in the sun much and hopefully never will. I won't sweat it.

That seems a little extreme. But, what the hell. I've lived in so many places, Seattle would probably be fine. I'll let the wife and kids know in the morning.

rotokim,
I purchased my cover in August 2004 from SportsCarSolutions.com, and the price was $92.00.
The contact info I have is no longer current.
You might find one here:

They have "all weather interior covers" for 996 @ $59.00
