I've had this vibration sound that has been getting under my skin.
Today my son and I went for a ride and I asked him if he could try to find the source.
It sounded to me like it was coming from the dash area.
After doing some searching he reached back to the rear section of the headliner and pushed up on it.
The noise came to an end![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)

I believe the noise was traveling through the cab making it sound as though the source was in the front section (this might help others).
After I got a chance to take a closer look it I noticed the liner is just a bit loose were it meets the rear window.
It does not appear to be snapped off or anything like that. I thought about wedging some black electrical tape in order to dampen the vibration/sound.
Anybody have a better fix or experienced this issue before?

If your car has a sunroof, this is the culprit. Do a search as this has been discussed and most fixes involve a wedge or shim, of tape, or an adhesive strip to tighten the seal at the rear of the sunroof. Another reason that I never open the top on any of my 911's. If I ever buy a special order car, it will be a sunroof delete car if possible. One less thing to cause rattles. I know exactly what you mean when you say it was driving you crazy.

10/4, we are a dangerous tandem ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Absolutely love the sunroof as well BC
One draw back is that when the light is right it brings out by receding hairline![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
Ball cap always on standby though![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I guess I should have done a search first. Should known better by now.
Rattle will be taken care of as per one of your suggestions schred
Thanks
