Does my 'early' 1999 Carrera have a fuel filter? If so where is it located?

if it is in the same place as the 2000, it would be underneath just about in the area of the front pax seat. you need to remove both the back and middle panels (i think) underneath and then it is in a tunnel about midway up. kind of hard to get your arm in there to switch it out but it is easily doable.
