^ good idea SC! but one that will probably be left for last i'm afraid.

Gurney flap i found used at the salvage yard, i need 2 go get that, along with some other pieces.

Mfletch: brake ducts are supercheap, grab em from your local dealer. 997 Turbo brake ducts (largest ones and also cheapest).

uberskier: mazda plateframe is there 'cause its the family business (one of). plus it makes people (and cops especially) scratch their head with a curious look on their faces

Marc: thanks for the link on the side skirts...350$ for the skirts eh. were they OEM and polyeurethane? Aftermarket skirts tend to never fit right.

A QUESTION TO YOU ALL:
- My rear bumper was dinged and has spidercracks running thru it on one corner that can't be fixed apparently. should i just get a used 99 stock bumper and do the aerokit bumperettes or should i get the GT3 (aerokit 2) rear bumper?

here's how i'd prioritize my $ spend on your car

-Get side skirts and rear side strakes to complete the aerokit along with that lil black plastic thing up front that runs along the bottom of the front bumper

-get litronics because the halogen lights dates your car by a BUNCH - it's the same lighting as on my '99 jeep cherokee for goodness sakes

-then go for the other stuff

i have the black plastic thing (front splitter). i just need 2 install it after having the bumper adjusted some more.

litronics: def not in the budget this year. i need 2 finish my race car and dial it in for the 2009 season

side skirts are key tho...going on a family vacation to the US, so i might have that DPS motorsports company ship em 2 my cousin's place and install em there. then again..it's in maryland, so they could be stolen and the mailman shot before i arrive 2 claim them

oh..forgot to mention..top priority above ALL that..is to figue out why i have an extra seatbelt anchor bolt after re-installing the interior and find a porsche baby seat.....and put a bloody CD player and AMP in....no tunes and no racing make omar something..something..

Very nice, I also did a facelift "sans wing" on mine recently on OEM Sport design wheels too so I do appreciate your new car aerokit, looks great, enjoy!

The car is looking great, Omar! Don't lose any sleep over the Litronics...the neighbors can wait to be impressed by your fancy-pants headlights until the REAL stuff is done...

congrats. Its coming along nicely. I am running 285s in the rear and it fills the back out without spacers FYI. Take a look at my recent post on non stock suspension measurement thread for pics.

^ chao, i have 285's as well.
compared to my previous rims, it's not enough fill. i'm going to spacer them so i hit the 36 offset on the front and 55 offset on the rear that was oh so perfect.

ur car is gorgeous btw. everytime you posted i kept pausing 2 check out your avatar waiting for my parts to arrive

The sideskirts that I got from DPS were at a discount because they were listed on ebay as not having the hardware and they had been sitting around the shop for a while (open box?). They are OEM and had never been installed. I would recommend calling and asking if they had any more "open box" specials.

Thank you Omar. Your car has the sport seats also with black interior? Very cool! Its like having a twin... We want many pics when its all done. Well, we want pics every time a mod gets added.

Omar,

Car is looking good. Of course I agree with everyone on the side skirts.

Those offsets are going to look perfect ! Don't forget to reach out when u come down to Maryland, I am right next door in VA. Sounds like a perfect opp for a meet up.

Looks like your coming along nicely, reminds me of the ol'skool days when I had the sport designs.

Go with 15mm all the way with the sport designs and don't listen to any else...

Nice Mick,

you know I struggled with buying your spacers and decided to not get them. I kinda regret the decision now.
