Default Looking for a Center Cap

One of the center caps on my 996 is a little worn - the enamel is pealing off the red stripes, and one section of red is completely gone. The car came that way.

Anyone know where I can find replacement caps; or even better, a single cap (probably wishful thinking)? Used or new makes no diff. to me - just has to be original.

It's option number 446 - Concave wheel cap with crest. I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Thanks Woody. I'll take the picture now before calling it a night, and upload it sometime tomorrow.

Thanks.

I just had to buy a single cap for my Kinesis wheels. There are single caps for sale on ebay. I located the one that I needed at Wheel Enhancement...they were great. They had mine in stock and it was only $15.

There are a whole bunch of center caps for sale in the Classified section on Rennlist. Item #86. There are many photos of the various types.

Default Pictures of my Center Caps

Here are the photographs I promised. You'll see that the center caps in the classifieds of Rennlist don't match these center caps.

I've included a picture of the damaged cap, a proper cap, and a diagonal shot to show the "concave" shape of the cap.

Hi, Ben. I'm a little obsessed - I admit it. But, I only have the crest on my wheel caps and the hood. That's pretty standard. I don't have the air stem logo caps (not that there's anything wrong with that). I have wondered whether or not to switch to the straight silver wheel caps.

Hey, Rikker. I just looked at Rennlist classified and saw a full set of 4 wheel caps for $100. They look like they match mine, but I'm going to wait and see if I can find a single cap or a pair. I'm saving my money to upgrade the stereo.

I'm reposting this because I never did change the center caps. I'd like to buy a used set, if anyone has them available.

I replaced my originals because they looked like yours. I went with the newer style and I bought them from Suncoast Porsche Parts. The new caps make the wheels look newer. I'd suggest upgrading all four to the new style.
