Default Used EVO CAI on 6speed for $250

I spotted this in the parts for sale section. It was just listed. I do not know the seller, but for $250....it is the best money you will ever spend on your 996.

Cold air intake mod. Does nothing for HP even though it is claimed. You do feel it in sound, about 50 extra hp worth at WOT around 4500 RPM. Most say the EVO is the best, I got the fabspeed CAI because of looks alone (EVO looks kind of cheap to me) not to say the orange hose looks hot or anything, just better for me. The removal of the air intake muffler is what does the trick. It is there due to German noise regulations, as far as I know.
The sound from this mod is worth it alone.
