Default Another window tint question

Well, I have picked up my car yet. At this time, I'm planning on flying out to Kentucky on Thursday night the 20th.

Here's my situation my car is a speed yellow C4S with yellow seat backs and yellow seat.

With those things in mind, do I tint the windows so that no one can really see these features?

I know that some subtle tinting would look good on speed yellow.

Eric

I just got 30% all around. I get enough privacy, it blocks out the sun fine and looks very good, classy. I was playing with the idea of going 20% (also looks good) but decided to stay legal a+ not give the police another reason to pull me over or mess with me when they do...I mean if, ha.
Something else to keep in mind is night driving, 20% in the rear can cause white knuckle driving when backing up. You can try a search of Speedyellows's old car (RIP) he has discussed window tinting and has some nice pics of his.
Pics bellow were taken a week ago, cloudy day.

Side angle gives it bit darker look, more than it is straight on (no pics of that at this time)

30% rear still functional at night and has that nice smoked/dark look

I like the tint, but if I tint my windows then I (or anyone else) doesn't see the seat backs or seat belts.

Ha, I missed part of your post (?) Eric
At 30% you will loose some of the color from the seat backs/belts, but being such a bright yellow, it might not be so bad and worth the trade off on what is gained in the overall look/function.
If you go 40% or so (next shade up form the 30) I think you would be fine.
Checking out the tint displays at your tint shops might be a big help to you.

I think it's a tough call for you since you have the painted seat backs. I absolutely love how it brings the exterior in when looking into the back window from the outside.

With that said, I made the tough life decision to tint mine 20% as I too have the painted seat backs. I do like the privacy and the darker interior, but gave up the sport seat peakaboo. You just can't see anything now.

20% = gangsta style = C-unit

Sure that was a tough decision?

Looking good though

NO, don't do it! #1-Tint makes the car look taller (I know this sounds crazy) because you are drawing attention to an area that was completely transparent. #2-It just looks cleaner w/o tint. Privacy? that is what your other car is for, all it needs is a set of sport springs or better yet coil-overs. BTW, very nice car!

I'm leaning towards not doing it. I like how you can see the yellow belts and the seat backs from the outside. Although, I may change my mind after a while.
