I agree with your comment about too many keys. I carry just my car key with me. Period. My wife and don't even carry a house key, as we always drive in through the garage and then into the house via a door that has a digital touchpad, so no key needed. Should there be a power failure when we come home, one of the roll-up doors has battery backup that's good for 24 hours and 40 up-down cycles. Should the touchpad fail, I have a hidden keysafe outside.

Getting into my office requires an electronic card key that I carry in my wallet.

I like to keep all my car keys seperate.. no bulk!
But I do like the Porsche design stuff, I have a nice leather cigar holder and a lighter and a few other PD trinkets

I think the keychain looks very nice also. I hate keys rattling around in my pocket, but I try to keep the numbers of keys I carry (4) to an absolute minimum.

I've always wondered about that... from the Porsche Design website...

I stand corrected. I assumed because usually one would see registered trademarks for branding verification:

Porsche Lizenz- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG [Porsche Design Group], based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, is a majority-owned subsidiary of Porsche AG. The company’s activities are focused on the business areas Porsche Design, Porsche Design Driver’s Selection and the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria.

I carry this. It's nice looking, but the ring is too big to fit the whole in the head of the key and has marred the plastic over time. One would think they had thought this out better.

Another point to consider is the notoriously weak ignition lock cylinder in the 996. Hanging extra weight from the key can only hasten the cylinder's demise.

My favorite keychain not the key wallet. Cannot find them around anymore though. It is heavy...
