Do all C4S's have a squeaky front suspension?

Dear C4S owners,
I am looking to purchase an '02 C4S this spring. I just found a beautiful one that is nearly perfect, except some squeaking noises was coming from the fron at low speed. At all other speeds, the car drove straight, solid and quiet. Only at 0 to 30 mph, around the neighborhood, etc., is it noticeable. It is not very loud, and sounds like a rubber bushing-type squeak. But I know it will drive me crazy. The seller said it has always squeaked, and he said all 996's squeak. The car has 30k miles on it.
I have seen other posts here about squeaky suspension parts, and some people mentioned the lower control arm bushing. Is this a common issue? Is it very expensive, a DIY project? I have not had a chance to drive others yet, and this one is everything I'm looking for. What say you?
Thanks in advance for your advise.
Steve

It seems the consensus is to expect "No Squeaks". If it is, as the other threads have mentioned, the lower control arm bushings, anyone know if some type of rubber or plastic lube would cure it? It's curious that with only 30K miles that the bushings would be shot, or loose enough to make noise. And according to the seller, they always have.
Anyone have any experience in the lower control arm area? I would hate to pooh-pooh this car just for the squeaks. It truly is flawless in every way, and I know he has been religious about servicing the car at a local dealership that has a good reputation for taking care of us Porsche owners.
Thanks,
Steve

No squeak here in my 02 C4S with 30K miles. Never had a squeak either. I have heard of some noise solved by tightening the sway bar mounts.
Good luck with the search!! demosan

I had a squeek similar to what you're describing. I recently replaced the control arms with gt3 parts and I have ZERO squeeks now. Parts were about $600 and I did it myself (may not be something you want do tackle depending on experience level).
