Default Need Body Shop in Sacramento/Folsom Area... our babies been hit!

This may be my first post, long time lurker...

As the title states... any really good body shops in Sacramento/Folsom area you would highly recommend? Our 2001 996 Gemballa Conversion was backed into yesterday. It pushed in the rear fender right right in front of the wheel about 1 inch. Also impacted the inner fender a bit.

I hate bondo... the repair needs to be 100%. Got any guesses on how it needs to be repaired? Pull and work the metal straight, or new quarter?

David, sorry to hear about the damage to your car. Brian Moore Restoration does incredible work. If you are familiar with the Serrano Concourse (sp?), he is the sponsor. He has done several cars that have been in Pebbble Beach. He is located in the Gold River area of Rancho Cordova. His phone number is 916-635-3559. I can't recommend him highly enough. His prices are surprisingly reasonable.

I know it sounds crazy, but you might want to let one of those paintless dent removal places give it a try. For $100-200, you might just get lucky. The only problem is if you have any real sharp creases, it can craze the paint a little along the crease line(s), trapped under the clear coat. Kinda hard to tell from the pic.

+1 on using a "paintless dent dude" The dealer dented my car when they were aligning it and they had a guy pull the dent out. He did an excellent job. Here is a link to some pics of the dent.

My paintless dent guy is Scott Jones. His business is Dent Dynamics 916-939-6554. He has worked miracles on several of my cars. He will come to your house and his prices are very reasonable. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip on the paintless dent guys. The pic doesnt show it well, but its pushed in approx 1 inch and there are cracks in the paint so it will need to be sprayed... Its pretty bad. I'm looking for that kind of skill to remove dents without needing bondo or more than a light skim for the fix. If your guys do both let me know. I'll make note of these guys for future reference, very useful!

Appreciate the assitance, and please keep the referals coming.

David, Brian Moore can take care of it. I had him repair a large rock chip on my previous 996. He repainted my hood in Vesuvio metallic. I was told by several shops that it was a difficult color to match. It looked perfect after he was done. When I'm ready to install my aero kit, I will have him do the paint.

Does this picture really count for a first time poster? His post has a picture, granted, but it is not in the spirit of the initiation.

He may get by on a technicality, but the picture police are slipping.

Just an update on this. We dropped off the car at Brian Moores shop today. He will have it for a couple weeks. It took a while to get the insurance company to get real regarding the repair costs to fix the car right. Brian's estimate was $3400 and the insurance company figured $2500 should do it.

Thanks again for the referal! My wife and I really appreciate it...

David, you won't regret going to Brian. He will have your car looking like new again. I went through the same thing with my insurance. They wouldn't pay what Brian charged to repaint the hood on my vesuvio metallic 996. Brian's price was about 1/3 less than their approved shop's estimate (Cook's Collision). I changed insurance over that claim.
If you think of it, please say "hi" to Brian for me. I can't wait to take my current car to him to have my aero kit installed. Good luck and thanks for the update.
