Just curious - are you getting many inquiries about the car. It looks like you have been trying to sell since February. I just traded my '99 with 101,000 in. I got a dealer to give me $17,500 on a trade which equates to $18,725 in cash with sales tax swing. So you are definitely not overpriced at $21,000. I did not get much response on my ads. These are good cars, but it seems nobody really wants them. Good luck, someone will come along when you least expect it.

I had more inquiries at the initial $24,500 asking price than as the price dropped....pretty weird.
They are great cars, just got a bad rep from of the problem cars.....I just hop in mine & drive it with a smile on my face.

Thanks,

- Cam

EDIT: For the record, though, Rennlist is the only place I have it advertised.....

I am in the market for 996's and 21K is a good price. maybe the red interior is limiting the buyer pool. personally it is growing on me every time I look at it. Good Luck.

The exterior color is great as it looks clean for a long time & if I could find a TT
with the same colors I would love it.....just my opinion. You are probably right about the interior, but I really like the way it looks with the exterior color.

I am embarrassed to admit that I cant come up with the wheels name. I purchased them shortly after I bought the car from somebody trading his 996
in.....they are not "replicas".
I know somebody else on Rennlist can tell us the name though....

They look like Kinesis Motorsport Supercup.

I like the silver/red color combo. GL w/ the sale!

Thank you, I believe that is correct, although the exterior is not Silver, it is
"Paladio Metallic".....kind of pearlescent gold actually.

Nothing done at all except for regular maintenance.

I had to replace the coolant tank (common for this rear), & got a code for
a cracked coil pack at one point, so I had all them replaced.

It is currently getting new rear rotors, pads & an oil change, the fronts were done about 10,000 miles ago.

I bought th e car with 55,000 miles on it & asked the previous owner about
an RMS replacement & he says he has no idea if it has ever been replaced.
At this point I have never seen any reason to touch it still.
He said clutch was replaced prior to my purchase & there is no problem with it at all.

Any more questions, let me know....

- Cam

EDIT: I just saw you are in Virginia, that is where I bought the car from.....I flew up & drove it back...great trip....
