Default Does this sound right?

I have my 2000 996 C2 in the show due to some strange movement that happens when driving that car it feels like the top and bottom of the car are attached by springs. It is a very odd feeling. Right now the shop can find nothing wrong other then the right rear tire is down to the wear bars. Should this cause odd handling issues? If so would it be wrong to just replace the rears and leave the fronts alone as long as they have good tread? Thanks in advance.

How many mlies on the car? Maybe your suspension is tired. Replace the rears, but just be sure to match the same tire brand with the existing front tires.GL.

You are probably experiencing tramlining due to worn out rear tires

the suspension is bran new factory M030. So I guess it would be the tires it just seemed like an odd thing for just tires to cause.

+1 on Tippy repsonse!!

I had the same issue with my 02C4S with M030 suspension when the rear Pirelli's were shot. Replaced tires and car was completely "normal" again!!
