I just purchased a really nice set (9.5 out of 10) of black supple leather seats out of a 996 my02 turbo to put in my '95 993. Both seats are powered; one vertical paddle and one horizontal paddle on the side of each seat. Just behind the vertical paddle is a 1" grommet covering a hole that I am guessing is for a seat heater switch. Is this correct? Does anyone also know if the seats would be manufactured "heat" ready and if the customer ordered such then the switch would be installed? The owner I purchased from said they were ordered without heat.

No they are not. Heated seats come with the wired components place specifically.
