Trj, thanks for the quick response on the wheels. They are beautiful, but are out of my budget. Are your visors vinyl or leather. If they are leather, please name your price. If they are vinyl, they probably won't match the cheap basket-ball looking vinyl in my car. Thanks, Mark.
Chuck & Don, you guys are right. They would look fantastic on any 996.

maybe we should all chip in a bit for Mark to make up the difference on the wheels for providing all the updates and pics on his crispy critter - great project and I too think these would look great on your car.
How far off are you on the price?
to the OP - looks like quite a car to tear apart for the track - congrats. Keep us updated on the progress.

".......Mark, I agree that the BBS wheels would look great on your car. Just go ahead and get the wheels, because I am sure CHuck will be happy to make up the difference between your budget and the cost of the wheels!"
Tim: Weren't you supposed to be leaving for Texas? I was hoping you had already gone.....

I thought that was very nice of me to volunteer you to help Mark out with the wheels. No, that's OK.... you don't need to thank me!
I am leaving tomorrow (Thursday) morning and shoul dbe in Dallas mid-afternoon on Friday. Unfortunately, I'll be off Rennlist for 2 or 3 days. Hopefully, I'll be back on Rennlist Saturday or Sunday.

Three Wheelin'
Trj, if you are removing the headliner and it is the suede (alcantara..sp?) material with a sunroof, I am interested. The dealer did not know if it is compatable with a 99. At the right price, I will give it a try. Please PM if you are selling it. Thanks, Mark.
Thanks for the suggestions on the wheels guys. Trj's price was great. Unfortunately, I have caviar taste and a squeeze cheese budget. I got the Kinesis wheels for about half.
