Default 996 with Ferrari exhaust!?!

Hi,

I am hunting for 911. not sure yet which one?
I found this 996 with a GT3 kit. It looks very nice.
I contacted the car dealer to get some details and he mentioned that this car has a ferrari exhaust (really weird). Also I don't know what GT3 kit is installed.

Does anyone know this car?
Follow the link: http://www.luxurymotors.com/inv/sear...ype=&keywords=

Thanks
Xav

He was probably referring to the car having a Tubi exhaust, which is like the defaut aftermarket exhaust for Ferraris, regardless it is not going to make the 996 sound anything close to what a Ferrari sounds like.

... yeah, that amused me too.

I liked the look of it, then realized that it was really lean on options. I like the aero and the evo, but I'd like to see more options on the car.

Be wary of "Luxury Motors". They have less than a sterling reputation.

Default Another thought

I have a 40th anniversary that I got last summer for less than the one you're looking at. It had only 10,000 miles and was nearly flawless. They (the 40ths) had a very nice option package with both appearance and performance upgrades. It also came with the Porsche CPO warranty which extends the orignal new car warranty an additional 2 years beyond its expiration. These cars appear somewhat regularly on Ebay for less money than the 06 you are currently considering. The performance engine upgrade (x51) included is about $13,000 if purchased as an option.

I really love mine, and the upgraded engine and suspension are a bonus.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass on that one.
