Talking Just got an 02 Cab

Maybe I should say I stole it. It had all of the options I was looking for and the color combo is close to my 03 986 that I ordered (SG/MB/MB with deviating gray carpet).

I will post some pics when I resize them.

Here's how it is optioned.

SG/Blk/Blk
Litronics
Cab Areo Wing and Side Skirts
18" Carrera wheels with brand new tires
Bose
CD Changer
OBC
PSM
Heated Seats
PSE
64k Miles

The miles were a little bit higher than I wanted but 02's C2's (coupes, targas and cabs) in the 45-60k mile range were what was in my price point of $33k or less

The wheels are chromed, so they will need to be changed.

The PSE was added at a dealer after delivery, so it doesn't have the dash switch, but the vacuum lines were connected and controlled by the speedo for cut off between 30-45 mph. I have disconnected the vacuum lines

Ruf did the PPI and only thing they found was the front brakes were at 30%.

The road trip from Dallas to Atlanta was a blast; however states with front plats are the worst as there is some damage to the front bumper from the plate bracket. Hopefully this is an easy fix and then I will add a GT3 front lip.

Sweet car, and I like the 911 on the rear lid.

Yeah it is a nice touch...I can't believe how much it is though.

Oh and it has all the little things done to it already like clear sides.

The Bose in the Cab is much better than in a coupe (well Christian's C4S at least )

nicely done. prices are just cratering. I will drive my car another 5 years and then give it away for whatever they will take in trade for a CPO'd 997 C2S cab when they are giving those away. Might even have 50K on it by then.

Congrats on the steal.
How can you sleep at night after what you did to that poor 996 owner?

I hope you enjoy this one as much as the 986.

Kevin,

Don't feel to sorry for the previous owner, as he sold me the car to buy a perfect Aston Martin Vantage with 6k miles on it.

The price was right for a base Cab, I just don't think he fully understood the value of the options the car has on it!

As these cars age, options don't seem to influence the value as much as does mileage, overall condition, owner history, and service history.
However, a highly optioned car may sell quicker than a lesser optioned one, all other things being equal.
