Default RSR style black headlights?

Has anyone tried retrofitting the race car style black headlights into their street car? especially those guys with black cars? It would look damn cool IMO.

Are the racecar lights sold as an assembly or do they have to be pieced toghether?

here's a pic of what i'm talking about.

like this, but in the 99-2001 headlight style

nope..doubt they are. they're off a racecar so they're probably the absolutly most barebones setup they can jerry rig togehther to prevent each other from crashing during a night enduro.

Those lights are awesome. I would trade my Litronics in a heartbeat. Plus then I would have to worry about some punk steeling my headlights to have HID in his POS ricer.

I agree that they would look good. Unfortunately, it appears to me that with the RSR they do not use the complete light assembly. Just a support for the headlight and a cover. If there was only a way to take the standard one apart

^ paul..i couldn't find the factory pics of the rsr on the porsche website since they put all the 997 stuff up. the toy is an accurate enough indication of what i'm talking about though (AutoART models might as well be mini versions of the real thing).

if someone has a pic of a 996rs or rsr that hasn't had the lights removed or tinted to that fugly yellow color..please post them so paul doesnt think i'm crazy
