Default Unique and Interesting 911 Colors

Since so many of us have arctic silver cars, I think it would be interesting to have a thread with pics of some excellent examples of the other more..er...lively color options out there, as well as some of the custom paint-to-sample stuff that can be done either thru the factory or at spray booth aftermarket.

I'll get us rolling with MexicoBlue's awsome looking 997, color is the same as his username, I hope he doens't mind. (it's also for sale btw...free promotion for an awsome car buddy)

Mexico Blue is pretty cool because it's a non-metallic finish that is pretty solid blue when in normal light, but fades to a bright almost pastel look when its in bright sun (see last picture).

Mexico Blue is similar to BMW's Laguna Seca Blue. I like it, but would never get it.

All those other colors are "special" because not a lot of people want them.

I am one of the ones who loves all the "off color" 911's, but would never buy one. I actually might do a Fountain Blue on my next car. I really love the Gulf Blue, Mexico Blue, Speed Yellow, Signal Green. Not really a fan of the orange colors, but a really big fan of the blue's.

I’m partial to the Pastel Yellow, for obvious reasons. I have yet to see another Porsche of the same color. It was offered as a standard color for only two years 98 & 99.

I've got one too -- I like the color more than speed yellow, which is a bit too loud for me. I've seen a Boxter in pastel yellow, but no 911's.

I almost forgot this post was about cars. Go Tigers!
