Default Turbo Twist Wheels on E-Bay

Lots of people have bought those turbo II solid spoke wheels on ebay

Has anyone actually weighed them to see how heavy they are compared to stock solid spoke turbo II wheels?

Anyone have any complaints about the seller or the quality of the wheel?

One is 17" and the other 18". Though I could be wrong, thinking back I might have been also looking at Boxster wheels.

Ouch...I didn't realize that until now either. I'm very used to dealing with rims in the 10-12 lb. range and don't like to see that.

Sure, you're absolutely right about that. To be honest, I think I'm one of the rare people not enamored with huge rims because unsprung weight has always been one of my pet peeves. Someone once gave me a number about how much 1 lb of wheel weight "feels" on the car, but I can't remember what that number was.

Of course, my FX came with 20" rims that weigh in at over 70 lbs. each with tires mounted. I let the dealer rotate those suckers.
